![]() This is hard to do, as fights happen quickly, TTKs is low, movement on CoD is cracked, and you'll likely miss bullets. move your mouse or stick a lot more than you'd have to do for a long range fight. At very close range, every enemy's movement on your screen requires a lot of adjustation of your aim, i.e. ![]() The major advantage, as other have pointed, lays in rotational AA during CQC. It is not an aimbot, so when you're out in the open and you want to shoot somebody, it won't magically do all the work for you. Just look at pro players, the majority of them uses a pad, because they understand how powerful it is and they take advantage of that. I read very different opinions in the comments, some people saying that AA is inconsistent and not activating while firing in an open field, and other people saying that rotational AA is OP, so I'll just say this: AA is strong if you know how to properly exploit it. Both have their respective advantages but saying Controller is OP like you say it is, is not right. I will agree with you on that it is what it is. Here I would like to mention FOV specifically, WZ is slower, then regular MP, for the average player, a higher FOV will help spot someone creeping up, which happens A LOT. It’s an advantage yes, but not the way you’re describing it. Rotational isn’t nearly as hard as you’re making it out to be, it doesn’t lock you on, it merely slows you down within a range, it’s not magnetic. As with anything else, play more, get better, both have their respective advantages. The average controller player is also not going to magically get better with aim assist. I went from 80 -> 105 gradually and the game so so much better now. I still sometimes cringe at the kills I get but it’s only a game!įOV isn’t forced upon you, if you go from 80 to 120 of course you will struggle, push it up slowly as with literally anything else. I switched to controller for WZ now and KB/M for everything else and I just get on with it. It’s a free game and no-one’s forcing you. Having said all of that - it is what it is and you deal with it. You don’t have to like it, it’s just how it is. In WZ an average controller player will trounce a KB/M player because of the aim assist. In fact I find it sometimes causes me issues trying to switch to another target as it drags me back. The aim assist is OP because of the rotational AA at close range. The average KB/M player cannot snap, flick or land epic headshots (regardless of who they’re playing) and most play low dpi which makes fast paced close range firefights quite difficult. How do PC players have an advantage? FOV makes it HARDER to aim and more difficult to see at range with a trade off of being able to see more peripherally. This seems more like a chance to vent than any useful info for the op.

Snowfro wanted to use generative art to create a system where no one could predict and manipulate the exact type of asset they were going to get. According to him, he first got the idea due to a personal experience claiming Cryptopunksin 2017.īecause he had a technical background and understood how smart contracts worked, Snowfro was able to game the system and selectively obtain the rarest available assets at the time, which were the zombies. A Brief History on Art BlocksĮrick Calderon, or Snowfro, founded Art Blocks in November 2020. Although these projects are not part of the official Art Blocks Curated collection, they are highlighted as possible works to explore since these artists have previous projects approved for curation. Collectors can browse existing artwork projects at any time and mint NFTs that will create their unique art pieces.Īs an additional perk to artists with curated projects, they can post new projects in the Artist Playground. Unlike some other curated NFT art platforms, Art Blocks does not schedule project drops. These curated artworks typically hail from renowned artists that reflect high standards of artistic beauty and technical innovation. This consists of submissions made by individual artists or collaborations handpicked by the curation board before going live. What is curated Artblocks?Īrt Blocks also has a curated collection of digital artworks, known as Art Blocks Curated. This is an attractive feature for artists as they earn recurring royalties from their artwork, which is unheard of in the analog art world. ![]() For secondary sales on NFT marketplaces such as OpenSea, Art Blocks takes a fee of 2.5% from the sale price while artists get a 5% royalty. This standard allows users to instantly access the NFT on marketplace platforms such as OpenSea, where they may choose to resell it to other NFT collectors.Īrt Blocks takes a commission of 10% from the mint price, and the artist keeps the rest for the initial sale. Once minted, the artwork is represented on the Ethereum ( ETH) network by a standard ERC-721 compatible NFT token. However, users should note that they need to install and be connected to Metamask to mint an art piece. Some platform users also enjoy the added excitement. This uncertainty brings an element of surprise into the NFT minting process and gives every collector an equal chance of minting a rare artwork. The format of the resulting piece may also vary – it could be a static image, a 3D model, or an interactive experience. For instance, one user may get a red version of the artwork, while another may get more bluish tones based on the color attribute of their randomly generated hexadecimal string. Then, each character in the seed determines an attribute of the artwork while staying true to the style of the artwork collection. ![]() First, a random hexadecimal string, called a seed, will be generated. If a user sees a particular artwork they like, they can choose to mint one for themselves. The Art Blocks platform allows artists to upload an algorithm that generates unique art pieces of a specific style, then the artist sets a mint price and cap on the number of pieces for each collection. What Are Art Blocks and How Do They Work? So how does it work, and is it worth investing in Art Blocks’ NFT pieces? This platform is a massive breakthrough in the NFT markets, and the novelty of the platform has created a lot of buzz. ![]() Art Blocks is the first platform to offer on-demand generative art content that is stored on the blockchain. However, it has recently found a new lease of life in the non-fungible token ( NFT) industry. Generative Art is a type of digital art that has existed for decades.
