![]() This is hard to do, as fights happen quickly, TTKs is low, movement on CoD is cracked, and you'll likely miss bullets. move your mouse or stick a lot more than you'd have to do for a long range fight. At very close range, every enemy's movement on your screen requires a lot of adjustation of your aim, i.e. ![]() The major advantage, as other have pointed, lays in rotational AA during CQC. It is not an aimbot, so when you're out in the open and you want to shoot somebody, it won't magically do all the work for you. Just look at pro players, the majority of them uses a pad, because they understand how powerful it is and they take advantage of that. I read very different opinions in the comments, some people saying that AA is inconsistent and not activating while firing in an open field, and other people saying that rotational AA is OP, so I'll just say this: AA is strong if you know how to properly exploit it. Both have their respective advantages but saying Controller is OP like you say it is, is not right. I will agree with you on that it is what it is. Here I would like to mention FOV specifically, WZ is slower, then regular MP, for the average player, a higher FOV will help spot someone creeping up, which happens A LOT. It’s an advantage yes, but not the way you’re describing it. Rotational isn’t nearly as hard as you’re making it out to be, it doesn’t lock you on, it merely slows you down within a range, it’s not magnetic. As with anything else, play more, get better, both have their respective advantages. The average controller player is also not going to magically get better with aim assist. I went from 80 -> 105 gradually and the game so so much better now. I still sometimes cringe at the kills I get but it’s only a game!įOV isn’t forced upon you, if you go from 80 to 120 of course you will struggle, push it up slowly as with literally anything else. I switched to controller for WZ now and KB/M for everything else and I just get on with it. It’s a free game and no-one’s forcing you. Having said all of that - it is what it is and you deal with it. You don’t have to like it, it’s just how it is. In WZ an average controller player will trounce a KB/M player because of the aim assist. In fact I find it sometimes causes me issues trying to switch to another target as it drags me back. The aim assist is OP because of the rotational AA at close range. The average KB/M player cannot snap, flick or land epic headshots (regardless of who they’re playing) and most play low dpi which makes fast paced close range firefights quite difficult. How do PC players have an advantage? FOV makes it HARDER to aim and more difficult to see at range with a trade off of being able to see more peripherally. This seems more like a chance to vent than any useful info for the op.
